Take a DEEP breathe

There are plenty of things to be happy about.....but it seems the last week I caught myself doing a lot of sighs during the day. {I just need to take a deep breathe and remember what is important}
So I got off work today and decided that I needed to make a list of all the little things that make me smile and laugh to myself. Because at the end of the day, there are big things in my life to be grateful for: Family, friends, my health, a place to live, food to eat and water to drink. But sometimes it is those little things that you forget that you love and make you happy. So I will share a few:

This little dog.....sometimes he just looks at me and I have to smile. He has such a funny personality.....

and he is DARLING!

{I may be one of those crazy ladies that doesn't have any kids but talks about their dogs like they are children}

This jewelry makes me so happy that I can't even express how much joy it brings me.  {Kinda pathetic, I know}
These belonged to my great.....great.....great....Aunt.  I was over to my parents house and I was explaining to my mom that I am into antique things lately. Clothes, jewelry, decor and my mother says,
 "Well I have some old jewelry of Grandma Sunny's."
"Are you kidding me mother.....you have held out on me this long?  Can I see it?"
She shows me what she has and I about pass out.  All the jewelry is in a little glass bowl and it is screaming old.  I put ALL of it on and showed everyone in the house.  {My dad and brother, needless to say, were not impressed}
My mom let me "borrow" these little gems and I am hoping that my lease doesn't run out soon.  I just can't get enough of them.

BOOKS!!!! BOOKS!!!!  MORE BOOKS!!!

You can honestly never read too many books

I LOVE this over loaded book shelf

I almost want to keep the same shelf and keep getting more books.  There is just something about having the books spill all around the shelf that makes me smile.

This is my clock wall and I keep thinking that I need more to add to it.

These are just a few things that I was admiring today.
Sometimes it is the little things that mean the most! :)

{Oh Gandhi......how wise you are}

This quote is very important and everyone should read it and absorb it in:

"Whatever you do in life will be insignificant....but it is important that you do it."

-Gandhi

Pictures that speak to you

There is just something about these pictures that just speak to my creative soul

{How can you not love the lonely chair on a roof top}

I took these pictures while waiting for the couple I was shooting for their engagements.
{p.s. I am rarely waiting on people....I have a little problem with time....}
I was meeting them in a parking garage to try a few new things and captured these little gems.
