Thursday May 27th.......
Clayton comes home and tells me to look on the internet for a style of a wedding ring that I like.
{I think to myself, "Well this will be my first time ever looking for a ring so I will see what happens}
I look through some websites and say that I like the style of this....or the band on that......etc

He pulls out this little beauty and says: "What about this one"  and asks me to marry him

1- I had NO IDEA he was even looking at rings.

2- He picked this ring out all by himself 

3- It is perfect

4- I am so proud of him

*BLING*BLING*

I couldn't stop staring at it all night

I guess I will be planning a wedding now.  

You hear that girls have always dreamed about what their wedding would be like and they have everything all picked out in their minds

{I haven't....so it is going to be harder}

To my skinny jeans:

Dear Skinny Jeans-
I know we have had our ups and downs and our relationship is on the rocks but I would like to get to know you better.  When I say I would like to get to know you better, I mean I would like to go a whole day without having to unbutton the top button because you are to tight.  I know it isn't your fault but you have to understand HOW MUCH I love food.  I would like to make a list of the things I am going to give up in order for our relatioship to mend:

1. Cafe Rio Burrito's

2. Daley Freeze chicken strips and scone

3. Taco Time Crisp Bean Burrito

4. Wendy's Crispy Chicken Sandwich

5. Del Taco Chicken Taco

6. Costa Vida Pork Salad

7. Mi Rancherito Cheese Enchilada

8. Polar Queen Fish & Chips

9. All candy

and worst of all.....

10. My intake of Dr. Pepper

{notice that I am only going to cut down on Dr.P....there is no way I can cut it out}

Dear weekend:

I am in need of a vacation and fast!!!!  I need to fly out of here as soon as possible.  At this point, I really don't care where it is.

"Your first dance...."

Clayton & I went out to see his dad over the weekend and I always enjoy just sitting and talking with him.  The subject of dancing came up and Clayton said that he would have to practice for weeks before he would feel comfortable dancing.  His dad turned to him and said,

 "Well son, dancing is like fist fighting,

once you get through your first one,

you realize that it really isn't that big of a deal."

{P.S.  I think I should have been a young adult in the 1950's}

A little appreciation

I just wanted to give a shout out to all those people out there who work really hard and never get recognized.  It is hard sometimes to feel like you are over-working, getting a lot accomplished and putting a lot of effort into your project or job and then never hear a word from anyone.  OR EVEN WORSE......you hear a lot of negative feedback from people who didn't or wouldn't speak up before. 

Cheers to you: over-worked, under-paid, under-appreciated................................

Oh Vampires......how come you are so interesting?

Dear Vampire Diaries-

But seriously, this series is so awesome and keeps me very
entertained. I just barely
starting watching this series last week, so I had a lot of catching up to do. 
It must be something about vampires, but I can't get my mind off of it.
  I can't wait until Thursday when a new episode is on.  Then just my luck, the season finale is May 13th.  Right when I start to love something and can't get my mind off of it, it ends for the season.  {Boo}  But then I have Eclipse to watch in June and then Vampire Diaries will be back in August.
